SALU’s Digital Ministry

SALU’s digital discipleship is flourishing. What began as a lifeline during lockdown has grown into a dynamic ecosystem of worship, reflection and connection, powered by
livestreams, interactive visuals and AI-generated devotionals. Each Sunday now sparks a rhythm of engagement that carries through the entire week.

📰SALU’s Digital Ministry Flourishes as Online Engagement Soars

In a heartening development, viewership of worship livestreams, broadcast simultaneously on Facebook and YouTube, has more than doubled over recent months, with 500–700 interactions (views) per service.

Using a trio of cameras, ATEM technology, and a digital sound desk to mix and stream the service creates a more dynamic experience for viewers. A curated PowerPoint slide deck guides the visual journey, enhancing each moment of the service with images, reflective prompts and theological insight.

🎥Sunday Services Spark a Week of Reflection

Each Sunday’s gathering is no longer just a livestream; it’s the launchpad for a full devotional journey powered by SermonShots AI. This innovative tool analyses the sermon and generates:

  • A Five-Day Devotional series, deepening spiritual reflection on the sermon. This is sent to more than 50 people every morning (Tuesday through Saturday).
  • A Digging Deeper feature, offering thoughtful theological insights and practical takeaways.
  • 📽 Quotes and reels*, highlighting key teachings and prompting daily moments of pause, which are released throughout the week on social media.

A weekly digital newsletter, including the above-mentioned Digging Deeper sermon takeaway, along with links to the YouTube recording of the sermon and a full transcript, the weekly Prayer Diary and relevant intimations, is sent to more than 100 people every Monday.

💡Faith Meets Innovation

This dynamic approach gives SALU’s congregation more time, and more pathways, to engage with Sunday’s message. From bite-sized video reflections to thematic devotionals and bold visual quotes, it’s no longer just about hearing the sermon. It’s about carrying its message into the rhythm of the week, cultivating a habit of shared wisdom and daily reflection. The congregation is evolving from passive viewers into active spiritual participants, united by prayer, insight, and ongoing connection – even long after the service ends.
