🌿 Fellowship in Action:
A Year of Quiet Blessings Behind the scenes and at the heart of our gatherings, fellowship and pastoral care continue to be a gentle yet powerful presence in our church life. Woven through the seasons, they bring colour, care and connection to every corner of our community.
🕊 Seasonal Beauty & Sacred Spaces
From Easter lilies to autumnal harvest displays and twinkling Christmas trees, the Fellowship Group transforms our sanctuary into a place of celebration and reverence. Their thoughtful decorating invites us to pause, reflect, and rejoice together.
đź’› Pastoral Care & Presence
With quiet faithfulness, members carry out pastoral visits, maintain the Congregational Roll and uphold safeguarding practices – ensuring that every member is known, valued and protected.
🍲 Gathering Around the Table
Hospitality shines through events like Souper Sunday and Harvest Lunches, where food becomes a ministry of welcome and warmth. These gatherings nourish not just our bodies, but our sense of belonging.
🌸 Compassion in Bloom
Each week, volunteers lovingly prepare two beautiful flower bouquets to add beauty and colour to the front of the church. After the service, each bouquet is offered to someone in need. Whether given to welcome a visitor or taken to a member of the church or community who’s unwell or grieving, in each case, it’s a simple gesture of love that carries the fragrance of care.
👣 Welcoming the Wider World
The group also helps monitor visitor groups, ensuring that all who enter our doors feel safe, seen and supported. Their quiet stewardship helps our church remain a place of peace and hospitality.
Through every act – seen and unseen – the Fellowship Group reminds us that ministry is not always loud or dramatic. Sometimes, it’s a vase of flowers, a bowl of soup, or a handwritten note that carries the deepest grace. We give thanks for their faithful service and the many ways they help our church feel like home.
