Jane and I have been members of SALU since we moved to Elgin from Glasgow in 1990, when I came to be Depute Head Teacher at Elgin Academy. When I retired in 2009, I quickly discovered that newly retired people are in high demand for a whole variety of jobs! In my case, being Session Clerk was one of these and I’ve been doing the job since early 2011. That and the five grandchildren we’ve acquired over much the same period help to keep me busy and out of mischief.
